New: Culture Days Info Sessions:
Learn about tools and resources available to Culture Days participants at special information sessions hosted by the Sudbury Arts Council with Ontario Culture Days staff in attendance. Aimed at helping participants increase the impact and success of their Culture Days activities, these sessions are open to artists, professional and volunteer-run cultural groups, libraries, museums, schools and anyone else wishing to participate in the third annual pan-Canadian celebration of arts and culture taking place on September 28-30, 2012.

Theatre Cambrian’s final main-stage musical production is the new musical Happy Days. Fonzie is shown above in rehersal with a friend (girl of course). Culture Days Sept. 30th - October 1st and 2nd across Canada and here in Sudbury was a great success with over 40 separate events in our area. All events were free to the public and participatory - such as an artist talk or demonstration, workshops, tours, presentations etc). Membership Options - Benefits:
Regular membership in the Sudbury Arts Council is free and entitles you to receive the Art Events Bulletin by e-mail, as hundreds do. For information please click here.
If you are an Artist, group or organization and wish to become a paid (voting) member please indicate in your e-mail (payment options below). Paid members are entitled to have a photo and bio (250 words) in the member directory of the website. You are also able to vote at Annual Meetings and run for elected office, and your contribution is very much appreciated to help keep the Arts Council serving the Artistic and general community, Please provide us with photo, bio etc. (for info required click here)
Voting (paying) members of the Sudbury Arts Council can pay by either credit card or PayPal (see paying membership options below). You can also pay by sending cheque to Post Office Box 1382 Sudbury P3E 5K4. Memberships are for one year from date of payment. Notices of renewal are sent out prior to renewal date. If you pay by PayPal or credit card on line through PayPal you will be advised of your membership payment renewal and you have the option to cancel renewal if you wish.
