Artists on Elgin - Winter Display:  

SAC President John Lindsay visits most recent Artists on Elgin "Winter Wonderland" display 168 Elgin Street 10 am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday.

Culture Days Sept. 30th - October 1st and 2nd across Canada and here in Sudbury was a great success with over 40 separate events in our area. All events were free to the public and participatory - such as an artist talk or demonstration, workshops, tours, presentations etc).   For more information go to the Culture Days Website:  www.culturedays.ca - www.fetedelaculture.ca.

Just some local Culture Days Happenings:  CBC morning show host with guest pumpkin carver. Andy Lowe, writer of Sudbury Songs, Jim Cook, part of Arts Tour, Gord Drysdale with plans for restoring of Bell Mansion, and Arts Fringe event.

As an Arts umbrella organization we represent and advocate on behalf of all Artists and are a source of relevant information for the benefit of all.

To encourage awareness and appreciation for residents and visitors of the wide diversity of Arts, Culture and Heritage in our area     

Membership Options - Benefits:

Regular membership in the Sudbury Arts Council is free and entitles you to receive the Art Events Bulletin by e-mail, as hundreds do.  Join by sending an e-mail to sac.communicate@gmail.com with your (or groups) name and involvement and/or interest in the Arts.

If you are an Artist, group or organization and wish to become a paid (voting) member please indicate in your e-mail (payment options below).  Paid members are entitled to have a photo and bio (250 words) in the member directory of the website.  You are also able to vote at Annual Meetings and run for elected office, and your contribution is very much appreciated to help keep the Arts Council serving the Artistic and general community,  Please provide us with photo, bio etc. (for info required click here)
