July 16-18: Traditional drum making weekend being held at Gordon's Park, 18777 Hwy 6, Tehkummah, Manitoulin Island. The weekend includes making a traditional deerhide drum using authentic Manitoulin deer hides and the making of the striker as well as camping for two nights, use of the solar heated swimming pool and nature centre with hiking trails.  Cost is 180.00 + tax and includes camping, all materials and supplies, and workshop leader.
