SMALL THINGS: Arts + Books + Crafts + Delights sells the works of local artists, writers, crafters and confectioners. We are all volunteers, including the owner, Jan Carrie Steven. Arts include photography, painting, silk batik, stained glass, sculptures, art cards and CDs. Crafts include hand painted bird houses and rocks, sewing and knitting, candles, jewelery, handbags, cermanics and ornaments. Books are those by small presses across Canada including Scrivener Press of Sudbury, and most titles are by local writers or about the North. Used books range in price from $2 to $4 and there is always a FREE books cart in front of the store. Delights include soap, fudge, coffee, jam, jelly
On site we also have a cat or two from the Greater Sudbury Animal Shleter – fixed and vaccinated – waiting to be adopted. And we have an on-going mini-garage sale in support of the spay/neuter fund.

We welcome products by artisans – the artisan’s share is 70%. Our commission is 30%, 10% of which we give back to the customer.
We welcome donations of books printed in 2000 to 2010. Used books help pay our rent.
We REALLY welcome shoppers. Without sales, there can be no Small Things to sell the work of area artisans all year round.
