Local Fundraising
Many arts and non-profit groups would not survive without funding from Bingo and Lottery Tickets, and outlets for these are listed in the Yellow Pages. For a list of all the fundraising activities carried out in the City of Greater Sudbury, just read the newspaper from front to back every day for a year and you’ll be able to compile one.
Sudbury Arts Council
The Sudbury Arts Council has limited amounts of funding ($500 or less per project) for community arts projects that are:
1. Originating from and oriented to this community
2. By not-for-profit arts-related groups
3. Particularly suited to special needs populations ie fixed income, disabled, institutionalized
4. Not fundable by regular arts-granting organizations.
