Greater Sudbury has a rich arts community and number of English and French poets, journalists, fiction writers and playwrights.

Wordstock is a festival that celebrates and promotes Sudbury writers, the love of the written words, and literary. It provides an opportunity for new voices to be heard.

Wordstock has theatre, music and visual art components.

Wordstock is a non-profit event, is being organized by the Sudbury Arts Council in co-operation with the Sudbury Writers’ Guild, local artists and publishers.
